After presenting, learners will have the opportunity to receive feedback and comments with the instructor to make improvements. Learning materials will be provided as a course pack upon course commencement.

A typical lesson structure based on a 1 hour study session:

  • 5 minutes – welcome and general warm up
  • 20 minutes – explore a topic: learn about and understand the focus topic- this will include useful vocabulary, grammar, phrases and idioms
  • 10 minutes – guided discussion: Learners will follow a list of discussion questions to discuss in pairs
  • 10 minutes – open discussion: Learners will discuss their thoughts as a group
  • 10 minutes – feedback and review of the topic, summary
  • 5 minutes – set goals for next lesson, outline the requirements for presentation and assign topic questions
